Experts Warn: Veo 3 Accounts in Vietnam Cost You Money

Buying and selling Veo 3 accounts in Vietnam is waste of money: experts

Since its debut at Google I/O 2025, Veo 3 has created a significant buzz among content creators worldwide. It enables the transformation of concepts into vibrant videos, harmonizing visuals and sound based on a few descriptive phrases, positioning Veo 3 as a game-changer in the creative landscape.

This innovative tool allows users to convert prompts into incredibly lifelike videos that incorporate dialogue and background music.

Though AI-driven video generation isn’t entirely new, Veo 3 distinguishes itself from rivals like OpenAI’s Sora and Adobe Firefly through its capability to produce audio and video at the same time. Users can describe a scene, and Veo 3 will generate a relevant video complete with spoken dialogue and music.

As one of Google’s most captivating innovations, Veo 3 is intended to collaborate with other AI tools, including Gemini (a language model that helps Veo 3 interpret text for video creation), Imagen 4 (which generates images for Veo 3’s use), and Flow (a platform that enables users to craft comprehensive stories using Veo 3).

In Vietnam, Veo 3 isn’t supported officially, leading to a burgeoning marketplace for buying and selling accounts, which entails considerable risks.

At present, Veo 3 is accessible in only 73 countries, excluding Vietnam. Users need to subscribe to Google AI Ultra ($249.99/month, around VND6.5 million) or Google AI Pro ($20/month after an initial free month).

Many Vietnamese users have turned to VPNs to change their IP to the US, allowing them to register accounts via promotional offers or even using faux student accounts for better pricing.

On social media platforms like Facebook and Threads, as well as e-commerce websites, a multitude of services has emerged selling “affordable” Veo 3 accounts, with prices starting as low as VND99,000.

Alluring ads claiming “authentic accounts with stable usage” or “24/7 technical support” have attracted many, from content creators to small enterprises. Yet, lurking behind this convenience are serious dangers that have led some users to face steep consequences.

Since June 6, 2025, numerous individuals engaged in AI-related Facebook groups have been dismayed to discover their accounts were suspended, leaving them unable to access Veo 3. This scenario underscores the perilous nature of buying and selling Veo 3 accounts in countries like Vietnam, where the service lacks formal support from Google.

Utilizing VPNs to alter IP addresses or exploiting loopholes in student plans to register for Veo 3 directly contravenes Google’s terms of service. On June 5, 2025, Google intensified its surveillance, blocking transitions from Student to Ultra plans to prevent such practices, resulting in many users losing immediate access without compensation.

Accounts bought from dubious sources could be locked unexpectedly, leading to financial setbacks and disrupting creative workflows.

Moreover, some services that market Veo 3 accounts demand personal information or require logins through ambiguous links, heightening the risk of data breaches, such as accessing Gmail accounts, credit card details, or other sensitive information.

Another concern pertains to technical quality. As Veo 3 doesn’t fully support Vietnamese, users must rely on English or translations, which can yield less-than-ideal results. Some have faced audio glitches, like videos lacking sound, stemming from overly lengthy or incompatible prompts.

To safeguard against unnecessary risks while pursuing Veo 3 or other emerging AI technologies, experts recommend the following:

Firstly, refrain from buying accounts from unreliable sources. Purchase only from vendors that provide VAT invoices and have clear customer support policies. Always verify the vendor’s credibility before transactions and be cautious of overly attractive advertisements.

Secondly, if employing a VPN for international access, choose reputable paid options like NordVPN or ExpressVPN to ensure both speed and security. However, remember that using VPNs to bypass regional restrictions may violate the service provider’s policies.

Thirdly, thoroughly review video content before sharing to guarantee it does not violate copyrights or disseminate misinformation, especially regarding AI-generated material.

Users should wait for Google to officially authorize Veo 3 in Vietnam rather than venturing down risky unofficial paths. Google DeepMind might expand its reach in the future, and official registration will ensure a secure, stable, and legally compliant experience.
