Miss Cosmo Competition Update Following Stage Incident
On October 1, the Miss Cosmo Organization revealed important revisions to the event schedule in light of the stage collapse that occurred on September 28.
The decision by the Miss Cosmo 2024 organizers is intended to uphold production quality and prioritize the safety of participants, while also enhancing the experience of attendees.
The preliminary round that was set for October 2 at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium will now be substituted with a judging evaluation round, taking place on October 3, 2024, at a conference center in Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.
For ticket holders of the preliminary round, a generous offer is available: they can transfer their tickets to join the evaluation round and will also receive an extra ticket at the same level for the finale. Those wishing to change their tickets or request a refund can reach out to the ticketing partner for assistance.
Even with these changes, the pageant community is looking forward to additional details regarding the official venue and other arrangements for the grand finale, scheduled for October 5.
On the day of the incident, September 28, 2024, the Miss Cosmo team confirmed the collapse of the main stage at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium. In response, the organizers swiftly collaborated with technical experts, medical staff, and relevant authorities to handle the situation. Initial investigations indicated that there were no major injuries. They have pledged to continue working with concerned parties to identify the cause of the collapse and will provide updates to the public promptly.
