Welcome to #NotBadNews, our new (and hopefully short-lived) daily column where we round up the good, surprising, and weird things that have happened around the world during this coronavirus pandemic.
In today’s #NotBadNews: your favorite celebrities are fighting for the working class, there’s now a T-Rex parade in Wisconsin, and we share a video that made our entire team cry (you’ll know it when you see it). These are the things that made us smile, laugh, and, sometimes, brought us to tears today.
The Garden State Shows Its Appreciation
In Morristown, New Jersey, one man showed his gratitude for the medical workers who helped save his wife, showing how even the smallest of gestures can go a long way.

Our Favorite Celebrities Call for a Redistribution of Wealth
You heard us right, the women of Hollywood are rallying behind the working class. On March 23, Britney Spears took to Instagram to address the current state of the U.S. as well as what must be done.
Spears was not alone in her call for a redistribution of wealth, with The Nanny’s Fran Drescher heading to Twitter to support the #GeneralStrike.
I agree. Capitalism has become another word for Ruling Class Elite! When profit is at the expence of all things of true value, we gotta problem. https://t.co/7BGZmwLAEP

Following Fran and Britney’s lead, Cardi B. put out a video questioning how coronavirus tests are being distributed, pointing out that many celebrities are being tested while the public continues to have to fight for theirs. She directly calls out Trump, who received testing despite showing no symptoms while those who check every box cannot get access to one. [Warning: explicit language]
Cardi B calls out celebrities & the government:
“If [Trump] is saying ‘if you don’t have any symptoms of the Coronavirus do not get tested because we don’t have enough tests’ but a celebrity is saying ‘I don’t have symptoms but I got tested & I’m positive’ that causes confusion” pic.twitter.com/VgKFqIBH8h

This is a revolutionary trio we did not expect but can definitely get behind!
A Hilton Happy Birthday in Jordan
No one dreams of spending their birthday in quarantine, and they definitely don’t dream of spending it stuck inside a small hotel room, but that is the situation one three-year-old boy found himself in. In order to make the most of his special day, this Hilton Hotel team in Jordan came together to help him celebrate.

We imagine he will never have another birthday experience like this one.
PornHub Comes to the Rescue
Did Fodor’s ever expect to report on PornHub? No, not really, but here we are, because the company is doing a lot of good. Hospitals around the world are seeing a shortage of masks, with non-responders buying them in bulk before hospitals and their workers had a chance. PornHub saw this problem and said, “Hey, we can help.”

The company, taking a break from pornography to dabble in philanthropy, sent 50,000 masks to coronavirus responders in New York City.
Dinosaurs Take Milwaukee
Everyone needs a distraction, and this Wisconsin town has an incredibly unique idea for how to do that, gathering together for a T-Rex parade.
Children could watch from the comfort of their cars as their favorite prehistoric creatures walked their neighborhood, at a reasonable social-distance, of course.
#SomeGoodNews for Coco
The Office star John Krasinski asked his followers on Twitter to share their good news, and one response garnered a lot of attention. Coco finished her final treatment of chemotherapy and came home to find that her neighborhood had gathered to celebrate.

This video took our cold, isolated hearts and warmed them right up. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch this, I will cry.
Check-in every day for an update on the wonderful and weird things happening in our current coronavirus world.
