6-year-old Girl Suffers Burns After Attempting to Cook

A 6-year-old girl is in pain due to burn injuries she sustained while practicing cooking with her friends in Abuja. According to Daily Trust, the girl had mistakenly brought a gallon of petrol instead of kerosene and poured it on the firewood they had gathered. Her father, Christopher Israel, reported that she is currently admitted at Kubwa General Hospital and has not yet recovered from the incident which occurred two months ago. Initially, the girl was taken to a clinic in the community for treatment, but with little improvement after two months, Israel was advised to take her to Kubwa General Hospital for further treatment two weeks ago.
