Jaws made Spielberg a household name when it premiered in 1975. It changed Hollywood forever with its killer shark that tormented a beach community for one terrifying summer. Today, Jaws remains one of Spielberg’s most popular movies, maybe even his most popular. The award-winning film inspired many after it.
Watch Jaws on Hulu with the Cinemax Add-on or rent it for $3.99 on Amazon. Unfortunately for Netflix subscribers, Jaws isn’t among the streaming service’s content.
‘Jurassic Park’
Watch the film that started one of Spielberg’s franchises with 1993’s Jurassic Park. Oscar-winning actress Laura Dern and Sam Neill starred in the film about a dinosaur theme park gone wrong.

Jurassic Park won three Academy Awards — Best Sound Editing, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound Mixing — according to IMDb. It also inspired an entire generation to learn about paleontology.
Jurassic Park isn’t available to stream on Netflix but Hulu subscribers can watch the dinosaur movie with Live TV. It’s not included with an Amazon Prime subscription but it is available to rent for $3.99 or buy for $6.99.
‘Saving Private Ryan’
Hanks and Matt Damon star in the five-time Oscar-winning film set during World War II that’s among the war movies veterans say are the closest to real combat. 1998’s Saving Private Ryan is not only one of Spielberg’s most popular movies, but it’s also a Tom Hanks classic.
Saving Private Ryan isn’t streaming on Hulu or Netflix but it is available to rent or buy on Amazon for $3.99 and $9.99 respectively.
‘Catch Me If You Can’
Follow Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio as he plays Frank Abagnale Jr. in Catch Me If You Can, the true story of a teenage check forger who amasses millions of dollars before landing himself on the FBI’s radar. The film received numerous award nominations and took home 16 wins, according to IMDb.

Watch Catch Me If You Can with Live TV on Hulu. Unfortunately, it’s not streaming on Netflix but Amazon does have the film available to rent ($3.99 for HD). This one is on our list of must-see DiCaprio films.
