Allegations Surface: Woman Claims Diddy Assaulted Her During Babysitting Job

Another legal case has emerged against Sean “Diddy” Combs, the American rapper and producer, making fresh claims of sexual assault.

The lawsuit, submitted in New York, features a plaintiff known only as Jane Doe, who asserts that Combs raped her in 2000 when she was just 16 years old.

At that time, she was residing in Lower Manhattan with her parents and working as a babysitter in a building where Combs’ unidentified girlfriend also lived. It was there that she came across Combs and two men allegedly employed by him.

According to the complaint, Combs persistently urged the teenager to accept a ride home, eventually convincing her to get into his vehicle after multiple rejections.

She claims that her unease grew when he did not take her home, and she was offered a drink intended to “calm her down,” which led her to feel disoriented and unstable.

The plaintiff states she was taken to a different location by Combs and his associates before the alleged assault occurred.

Following the incident, she was returned home and left at the entrance of her apartment building.

Diddy now faces over 30 lawsuits accusing him of various sexual misconduct acts.

In response to these allegations, Combs’ lawyers issued a statement to PEOPLE, firmly denying the claims:

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—regardless of gender or age,”
the legal team asserted. “We operate in a system where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Thankfully, a fair judicial process exists to ascertain the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will succeed in court.”

Currently, Combs remains in custody in Brooklyn, awaiting his federal sex crime trial set for May, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
