Police in Lagos have apprehended two individuals masquerading as law enforcement officers despite not being affiliated with the police force.
A video circulating online reveals officers striking the imposters before parading them.
Amidst the commotion, a female officer expressed disbelief at the sight of the counterfeit policemen in uniform, even a fake inspector rank.
The male officers also exhibited the firearms seized from the perpetrators.
While the motive behind their possession of police attire and weapons remains unclear, suspicions point towards potential robbery or extortion schemes.
