A recent video captured outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden stumbling multiple times while walking on the beach with First Lady Jill Biden in Delaware, on Sunday, November 10. The footage has gone viral.
At 81 years old, Biden appeared to have difficulty walking on the tricky, uneven sand. At one moment, Jill reached out to support him, ensuring he didn’t fall.
The video, filmed by reporters nearby, elicited gasps and laughter as Biden wrestled with the sandy surface, narrowly avoiding a fall.
This clip was widely circulated on conservative social media platforms, reigniting conversations about Biden’s health and fitness level. Concerns about his age and cognitive sharpness have grown recently due to several verbal errors and moments of confusion captured on camera during his re-election efforts.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) shared the clip on X (formerly Twitter), humorously remarking: “Biden is currently battling the sand at his beach house in Delaware. (The sand is winning).”
Podcaster Benny Johnson also chimed in, joking, “Joe Biden’s latest opponent: Sand.”
Biden concluded his presidential campaign in July after a poor debate performance against Republican Donald Trump, raising serious questions regarding his capability for a second term. The Democratic Party ultimately selected Vice President Kamala Harris as their candidate for the upcoming election against Trump.
After Trump’s decisive victory in the previous week’s election, Biden extended his congratulations and invited the President-elect for discussions at the White House.
