President Muhammadu Buhari has performed Eid-el-Fitr prayer on Friday.
He joined other Muslims to perform the prayer after the end of the successful one month Ramadan fast by Muslims all around the world.
The president to Mark the end of the holy month, joined other Muslim faithful on the parade ground of the Mambilla Barracks in Abuja to say the Eid-el-Fitr prayer.
It was learnt that the President, who arrived the praying ground around 9:10 am, was accompanied by some of his family members and personal aides.
Others at the praying ground included some members of the Federal Executive Council, security chiefs, heads of para-military organisations and government officials.

President stated this in his goodwill message to Muslims on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration to mark the end of the 30-day Ramadan fasting season.
the message issued on Thursday night by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, President Buhari said that the peaceful outcome of the 2023 general elections will go down on record as one of the proudest achievements of his administration.
The President said he never interfered with the process in order to give an unfair advantage to anyone, stressing that the elections were so transparent to the extent that some members of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) were defeated.
In his goodwill message to Muslims on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration to mark the end of the 30-day Ramadan fasting season, President Buhari advised that “We shouldn’t forget the important lessons of Ramadan which include improving our bond with the underprivileged and poor members of society.”
