After what’s felt like an eternity, we lastly have a tiny glimpse of Marvel’s first female-led superhero film, Captain Marvel. The information that Brie Larson can be embodying the iconic position of Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel) was introduced at Comic-Con method again in 2016, and over the previous two years, fairly just a few particulars have trickled out. We know who the villain will probably be (Rogue One‘s Ben Mendelsohn), that some familiar faces are set to return (Nick Fury and Agent Phil Coulson, amongst others), and that Jude Law is in talks to play Doctor Walter Lawson (aka Mar-Vell). But, alas, we might but to see an official photograph of Larson in character. Until now.
Well . . . form of.
Now that filming for Captain Marvel has formally kicked off, Marvel shared a behind-the-scenes photograph of Larson posing on a fighter jet whereas carrying a flight swimsuit alongside Brigadier General Jeannie Leavitt, whom she met whereas on a latest journey to Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada to analysis the Carol Danvers character. It may not be Captain Marvel’s iconic supersuit, however that is the closest we have come to seeing Larson as the superhero. We’ll take it!
All in all, it appears like the movie is shaping as much as be one thing fairly unbelievable. Now all we’ve to do is sit tight, because it does not come out for one more 12 months.
