At this point in life, BTS fans know how it works — this is Park Jimin‘s world and we’re just living in it. Often times, the “Serendipity” crooner stops ARMY in their tracks with his phenomenal dancing skills, vocals, and visuals. And just before BTS went on to perform their 5th Muster Magic Shop in Osaka, Japan on Dec. 14, Jimin debuted a blonde hair selfie on Twitter. And quite frankly, his new hair color makes us feel like we’ve ascended to the pearly white gates of heaven.

Ever since BTS’s Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final] concert, Jimin dawned silver hair reminiscent of the Wings era. Then on Dec. 13, the “Lie” singer mesmerized BTS fans with his all-black outfit as the South Korean group departed Gimpo International Airport. And although he wore a cap on his head, ARMY noticed Jimin’s blonde hair peeking through.
Then moments before BTS’s 5th Muster show in Japan, Jimin posted his blonde hair in a selfie — or selca — on Twitter. And the singer-dancer left ARMY with a smiley-face emoji, as the glowing photo spoke for itself.
BTS fans react to Jimin’s blonde hair
Once Jimin posted his blonde-haired selfie, BTS fans swarmed social media to share their reactions — and excitement with the world.
“BLONDE JIMIN NATION LET US RISE WE FEASTING,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
“Jimin blonde is back, I REPEAT JIMIN BLONDE IS BACK!!!” an ARMY on Twitter wrote.
Another fan tweeted: “The truth is that Park Jimin was born to be blonde.”
Meanwhile, other members of ARMY called Jimin an angel after his hair color change.
“his blond hair literally looks like a halo,” a Reddit user wrote. “park jimin is an angel but wbk.”
But of course, some fans started to miss Jimin’s silver hair.
“blonde jimin,” a Twitter user wrote. “i already miss silver jimin but it’s okay.”
That said, no matter how many times Jimin changes his hair, BTS fans will always be there to support him.
“Every hair change floors me,” a Redditor wrote. “Black haired Jimin vs silver Jimin vs blond Jimin etc etc I just can’t win but at the same time we’re all winners. Sh*t man. I’m in love.”
ARMY predicts Jimin’s blonde hair will be changed for the BTS comeback
With BTS’s comeback season upon us, ARMY has been mentally preparing themselves for the new album release, speculating all the clues the septet — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — potentially prepared for their year-end shows. And a few fans wondered if Jimin’s blonde hair means the singer will dye his locks a new color soon, hinting at the next comeback. Remember that Jungkook dyed his hair half-blonde before coloring it red.
“JIMIN IS BLONDE…THIS IS IT,” a fan wrote. “HE IS GETTING READY TO DYE HIS HAIR AGAIN FOR COMEBACK HELLOO”
“Jimin’s hair is blonde. new hair color coming … maybe for comeback?? .. unless…” another fan tweeted.
But regardless of what happens next, ARMY can look forward to BTS’s new album, according to Jimin at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards on Dec. 4. When the seven members won Album of the Year at the awards show, Jimin happily told the world BTS’s new music had his stamp of approval.
“We’re working on our next album now,” he said. “I think we’ll be able to put out an even better album than you’re expecting. Please look forward to it.”
