In Adamawa State, police have detained two suspects found with significant amounts of Indian hemp and hard drugs.
According to a Friday evening statement from the police, the arrests were made as a result of targeted raiding operations in Malabu town within the Fufore Local Government Area.
“The two suspects, involved in the consumption and distribution of Indian hemp and hard drugs, have been apprehended, and a substantial quantity of these substances has been seized,” the statement highlighted.
The police, represented by spokesperson Suleiman Nguroje, identified the suspects as Idris Muhammad, aged 34, and Auwal Kabiru, aged 24.
They are currently in police custody and are cooperating with ongoing investigations.
