A Nigerian woman recounted her experience of being deceived by her former partner, who insisted he wasn’t getting married even after a church announcement.
Nnenna Okoronkwo, a Nigerian lady, shared the story of her ex-boyfriend who emotionally manipulated her by claiming he wasn’t marrying another woman.
She emphasized that, even with a public wedding ban declared at church and his inbox flooded with messages of congratulations, he continued to mislead her.
“Thinking back on all the distress caused by that man from Benue leaves me feeling devastated,” she expressed in a Facebook update.
“This guy gaslighted me so much! Can you believe they announced your wedding ban in church, and you still claimed it wasn’t you?”
