It’s a boy!
Ciara and Russell Wilson are expecting a son together. The superstar couple made the big reveal on social media Tuesday, sharing a video of themselves popping cannons that exploded in blue smoke and confetti.
Before finding out the baby’s sex, Ciara’s son Future Zahir said he was hoping for a baby brother, while CiCi wanted “whatever God has for us.”
“It’s a boy!” they declared as Future celebrated by running around the yard and an elated Ciara danced.
This will be the third child for Ciara. She and Wilson share a 3-year-old daughter, Sienna Princess. Ciara is also mother to 5-year-old Future Zahir from her previous relationship with Future.
Ciara, who married the Seattle Seahawks quarterback in July 2016, announced that she was expecting baby No. 3 on Jan. 30, showing off her baby bump in a bikini while vacationing in Turks and Caicos.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the pregnant singer revealed the challenges of being an expectant mother. “Ultrasound visits during this era of Covid-19 is a bummer because my hubby @DangeRussWilson can’t come in with me to my visit. Truly a challenging time for expectant mothers,” she tweeted.

Despite the quarantine, the family remains in good spirits. Ciara and Russell recently shared a video of themselves dancing to Drake’s “Toosie Slide” while at home.
