Thaddeus Attah
Thaddeus Attah, a member of the House of Representatives representing the Labour Party, has recently stirred up a debate on social media. He was seen wearing a cap adorned with a design associated with President Bola Tinubu from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Attah, who serves the Eti Osa federal constituency in Lagos, shared the images on his X account.
The post led to numerous comments from Nigerians, questioning whether he has become a ”disciple” of President Tinubu.
Various users expressed skepticism, accusing him of leveraging the Labour Party for electoral gain, while some voiced distrust towards politicians in general.
In a significant electoral win in February 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed Attah as the victor for the Eti-Osa federal seat, securing 24,075 votes. He defeated Bankole Wellington, known as BankyW from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 18,666 votes. Babajide Obanikoro from the APC followed with 16,901 votes.
