The governors of the Southeastern region are currently meeting with key stakeholders such as the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe at the Government House in Enugu. The attendees include governors from Abia, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi, and the host governor of Enugu.
The purpose of the meeting has not been officially disclosed to the media. However, speculations suggest it may be related to the security challenges in the area, the situation of the detained IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, and the overall state of affairs in the region.
