Nigeria’s very own Tems has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning her second Grammy Award, a moment celebrated by her fellow artists Davido and Ayra Starr.
During the 67th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles on February 2, Tems secured the victory in the Best African Music Performance category with her song ‘Love Me Jeje’. Her entry outperformed contenders like Yemi Alade’s ‘Tomorrow’, Asake’s ‘MMS’, and Burna Boy’s ‘Higher’, among others.
In a show of support, Davido took to X to express his congratulations to Tems and also commended Chris Brown for winning the Best R&B Album award.
Ayra Starr also joined in the celebrations on X, congratulating her fellow artist Tems.
