Activist and attorney, Barr Deji Adeyanju, has criticized the Nigerian populace for their indifference regarding the recent increase in fuel prices.
On Wednesday, Nigerians learned that NNPC had raised petrol prices from N868 to N1,031 at their stations in Abuja.
Expressing concern over the lack of public response, Deji remarked that no one seems willing to take a stand by protesting.
He stated:
“Fuel is now N1,030 but nobody wants to chase clout by protesting. Everyone is just waiting for someone else to start.”
