Controversial music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a new lawsuit alleging sexual assault and unlawful confinement, with serious claims of him threatening a woman by dangling her from a 17-story balcony.

The suit was brought forth by Bryana “Bana” Bongolan in Los Angeles Superior Court, detailing an incident that allegedly took place in September 2016 at the residence of Diddy’s then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

According to the allegations, Bongolan states that Diddy arrived at Cassie’s apartment late at night while she was there. She claims that he began to touch her without her consent, and when she attempted to resist, he allegedly positioned her precariously over the balcony edge. Ultimately, Bongolan asserts that she was pulled back to safety but was then thrown against patio furniture, including a table. She is seeking $10 million in damages.

Diddy’s legal team has responded by rejecting the claims as “without foundation.” In their statement, they asserted, “Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless. He has unwavering faith in the facts and in the fairness of the judicial process. In court, the truth will come to light, demonstrating that the claims against Mr. Combs are without merit.”

This lawsuit arises while Diddy is currently detained at MDC Brooklyn, after the court denied his fourth request for bail earlier this week. The court deemed his release a potential danger to the community. His trial is set to begin in May of next year.
