Disney and Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 4’ premiered in theaters during 2019

It’s been a few weeks since viewers saw the end of Woody and Buzz’s story. Premiering on June 21, 2019, this movie told the story of Bonnie’s toys as they embark on a road trip together. When Bonnie starts Kindergarten and creates a spork friend named Forky, it’s up to Woody to teach him to the true value of being a toy and a friend.

Since its premiere, Toy Story 4 became one of the most popular movies of the summer, surpassing $1 billion in box office sales. The film later released on Blu Ray and DVD, taking Woody, Buzz, and Bo Peep’s adventure into viewers’ homes. However, some fans are wondering if this Pixar movie will be available for streaming on Disney+.

Will this movie premiere on Disney’s streaming service, Disney+?

While Disney periodically announced movies to be available on Disney+ within the coming months, the launch date of Toy Story 4 has yet to be confirmed. (The live-action adaptations of Aladdin and The Lion King, both released in 2019, will be on Disney+ during January 2020. Some 2019 blockbusters, including Dumbo and Avengers: Endgame were available at the Disney+ launch date.)

However, some suspect the animated Toy Story sequel will be streamable within the next year. According to Newsweek, “in general, films are set to appear on the service four months after their DVD and BluRay release. Toy Story 4 was released on home entertainment formats on October 8, 2019, meaning that, if the sequel [follows] suit, it will come to Disney+ in early February 2020.”
