Adam and Danielle Busby have been remarkably open about their issues with fertility. In 2018, Danielle told Country Living that they struggled with getting pregnant because “Adam’s testosterone, sperm count, and motility were low and Danielle did not ovulate regularly.” They used a treatment called intrauterine insemination (IUI) to conceive their first daughter, Blayke. For their second pregnancy, Danielle took the drug called Femara, according to Country Living, which led to their pregnancy with quintuplets.

It doesn’t even stop there. In November 2019, Danielle shared on YouTube that had developed PCOS [polycystic ovary syndrome]. After other treatments failed, she had to have a hysterectomy.

While this means that they cannot have any more children, in 2015 Adam said to KPLC: “Our family is complete. All girls, not trying for a boy. We’ll have a seventh girl… that’s just how it is, so it’s over.” He concluded by saying: “The shop is closed!”

However, Danielle spoke to Us Weekly and said they haven’t totally shut the doors on adoption. She said: “It would be nice to have a little boy and carry on the Busby name here, but there won’t be any more children unless one day God put it on our hearts to adopt.”

While nothing’s certain, Danielle and Adam could one day welcome another little Busby into their fold.
