There’s no denying the striking resemblance between Benjamin Keough (far right) and Elvis Presley. “He does [look so much like Elvis]! He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage. Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny,” Lisa Marie Presley told CMT News back in 2012. “Sometimes I am overwhelmed when I look at him.”
And it’s not just looks that the Graceland heir received from the King of Rock n’ Roll. It seems like Keough be dusting off his grandfather’s blue suede shoes, too. In 2009, the Daily Mail reported that Keough allegedly recorded his first album and was “understood to have signed a £3.3million five-album deal with the record company Universal.” However, before die-hard Elvis fans get their hopes up, Universal has reportedly denied those claims, according to Entertainment Weekly.”He’s doing his own thing right now,” Lisa Marie dished to Huffington Post in 2013 about her son’s potential singing career. “I’m going to let him decide when he wants to go out and do what he wants to do.”
Whether or not Keough is making music still remains a mystery, but he did share one thing with the public during a UK awards ceremony in 2009. “The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all,” he said (via The Daily Telegraph).
