Pastor Adeboye Warns Against Disputes with God
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has offered guidance to Christians about not arguing with God.
During the recent RCCG Holy Ghost Service, he urged the congregation to put an end to the contentious discussions surrounding tithing.
He remarked: “I appeal to everyone globally. Let the debate on tithing cease.”
He emphasized that if a pastor does not accept tithes, members shouldn’t leave; instead, they should respect the pastor’s preference for offerings.
He added, “If you believe in giving God at least 10 percent, look for a nearby church that accepts tithes, so you can contribute without conflict with your pastor or God.”
Pastor Adeboye encouraged Christians to honor their pastors’ requests and donate accordingly, noting that those who feel strongly about tithing should find a church that will accept their contributions.
