Experienced journalist and publisher, Dele Momodu, has criticized the Federal Capital Territory’s Minister, Nyesom Wike, calling him a poor investment.
This response follows Wike’s recent remarks during a media session where he ridiculed Momodu, claiming he has never secured a single vote.
In a pointed response shared on his social media, Momodu questioned Wike’s integrity and criticized his alleged indulgences, stating, “Excessive drinking can lead to forgetfulness and a diminished state.”
The situation intensified as Momodu drew parallels between election results and personal behavior: “In elections, there’s little distinction between the individual who squandered millions in a failed quest for power and the one who put forth no effort and achieved nothing. They both end up as failures.”
He continued, “The distinction lies in one being a brash and unrefined local figure dubbed ‘money miss road’ while the other is a cultured global player content with his circumstances.”
Momodu implied that attempts were made to assist Wike, but they ultimately fell short, stating, “We aimed to provide support but were unsuccessful because some individuals are beyond redemption,” he remarked.
In a concluding comment that highlights the ongoing friction between the two, Momodu stated, “Takeaway: NO ONE HAS A MONOPOLY ON FOLLY.”
