A recent fire at Dangote Group’s refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State has been successfully contained according to Anthony Chiejina, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of Dangote Group.
A fire incident occurred at the Dangote Group refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State with the cause still under investigation at the moment.
Anthony Chiejina further stated that there is no need for concern as the fire has been successfully contained.
In a statement to Vanguard, he reassured, “We have swiftly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP) today, Wednesday, 26th of June.”
He added, “There is no cause for alarm as the refinery is operating normally, and there are no recorded injuries or bodily harm to any of our staff on duty.”
