Floyd Mayweather Jr., the renowned American boxer, and the rapper Tyga are facing a lawsuit from a Miami jeweller, Leonard Sulaymanov, claiming they owe at least $4 million and are involved in illegal activities.

Leonard Sulaymanov has taken legal action against Mayweather and his company, Money Team, under the “Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) Act,” alleging fraud, civil conspiracy, breach of contract, and other offenses.

The lawsuit was filed on August 23 in a federal court in Miami, also naming Tyga, known as Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, for allegedly not paying for a Rolex watch.

It is stated in the lawsuit that the defendants abused the jeweller’s reputation and inventory to acquire watches and jewelry without adequate payment, as claimed by the jeweller.

In June 2021, Sulaymanov sold several items to Mayweather, including watches and jewelry, receiving only $267,000 before Mayweather left Miami.

Subsequently, Sulaymanov allegedly traveled to Las Vegas to meet Mayweather and Tyga to make more sales, where Tyga agreed to buy a Rolex and Mayweather made additional purchases but did not settle the outstanding balance, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit mentions the disappointment of the plaintiffs at the lack of payment for the transactions, causing concerns and leading to discussions on payment expectations.

Sulaymanov is seeking reimbursement of over $3.8 million from Mayweather and Tyga for the outstanding balance and additional compensation for the distress caused.
