Following investigations, it was discovered that the Headmaster of Gaidar Makada Special Primary School in Kumbotso Local Government Area was involved in selling school assets illegally.
The spokesperson of the commission, Kabir Abba Kabir, issued a statement on Saturday, August 31, 2024, explaining that the arrest was made after uncovering a troubling plot related to the unauthorized sale of crucial school assets.
The commission is committed to recovering the stolen goods.
“An investigation revealed the disappearance of important items such as metal fixtures, benches, and furniture from the school,” stated the spokesperson.
“Concerns were raised about the headmaster’s questionable actions during discussions with the SBMC and PTA Chairmen.
“Upon the official report of thefts on August 31, 2024, the PCACC promptly took action.
“The main focus of the commission now is on the recovery of the stolen property and ensuring that such fraudulent behavior does not undermine the credibility of our educational institutions.”
