A Canada-based lady has taken to Tiktok to lament over high tax deduction in Canada.

The lady with the handle, @foya2005 revealed that she earns 6,200 CAD (approximately N4.2 million), only 4,100 CAD made its way into her pocket after a sizable 2,100 CAD (equivalent to N1.4 million) was deducted as taxes.

She wrote;

“Realizing I made 6,200 a month but only took home 4,100 because of taxes. Yes, that is the life we live here, paying taxes that we don’t even know where they go.”
