In response, many Nigerians expressed skepticism, suggesting that victims in Nollywood might not see any real change even if they bravely come forward about their experiences of harassment.
The #MeToo movement aims to raise awareness and combat sexual abuse, harassment, and rape culture through sharing personal experiences of those affected. This movement has already led to significant revelations in Hollywood, where various prominent figures faced allegations.
