The rapper, born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, was a huge new artist in 2019. 2019 list before she ascended to pure superstardom.
The rapper put out top-ten albums in 2019, one of them being Kirk. That album reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. He also hat a hit single in 2019, “Suge.” It was include on the album Baby on Baby and it reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Suge” was nominated for two Grammy Awards in the categories of Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
The rapper hinted as having a new album coming out
On social media, DaBaby put out some posts that strongly hint at the fact that he has a new project coming out. In a tweet and Instagram post, he said, “THIS FRIDAY! 🤫💿.” Fans immediately began to speculate if new music was on the way.
Now, regardless of whatever this materializes as, it’s pretty much a safe bet that DaBaby will release something this week. If DaBaby does release a new project, it wouldn’t be surprising at all.
He often releases several singles outside of his albums. Also, both Kirk and Baby on Baby were released in the same year, meaning it has been a while since we’ve had a full DaBaby project, all things considered.
It may not be an album, but it could be an EP, new song, single or music video. But the fact that he used the CD emoji in the tweet makes it seem like this will be a project and not just a song.
