Lagos State Environment Commissioner to Address Individuals Accused of Dumping Trash into Flood Water
The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources in Lagos State, Tokunbo Wahab, has revealed intentions to take action against two individuals who were reportedly filmed disposing of rubbish into floodwater.
An image circulating on social media captured a man and a woman moving a drum in a flooded street.
The individual who shared the image claimed that the accused parties threw garbage into the drum placed in the floodwater.
Responding to the incident, Wahab has pledged to ensure that appropriate measures are taken against the offenders.
