The Kano State Government has put forward new charges against Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor, and Musa Lawan, the erstwhile Commissioner for Justice.

The Kano State Government recently filed fresh charges against Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor, on Tuesday, July 16.
Accused in case No. K/143c/24, Ganduje and Musa Lawan, the former Commissioner for Justice, are facing allegations of criminal conspiracy and misappropriation punishable under the amended Penal Code of Kano State.
The charges state that the offense is contrary punishable under Sections 97 and 315.
The state government has accused Ganduje and Lawan of abusing their positions of power.
According to the charge sheet, the state plans to bring forward four witnesses to testify in the case.
Currently, no specific date has been scheduled for the court proceedings.
