The American hip hop artist seems to be fed up with the music industry as he said he is defenseless and mentally defeated. His fans have already flooded his timeline to plead with him not to retire.
Over the past year and change, Lil Wayne’s public feud with Birdman and Cash Money Records has dramatically impacted his career and ability to put out music. The issues originally stem from Wayne’s frustrations over money reportedly owed to him and the label not releasing his long-awaited album, Carter V. At one point in January it appeared that Wayne and Birdman were on track to solve their differences, but since then Wayne has only become more vocal about his displeasure with the label and has yelled “Fuck Cash Money” at a number of concerts recently.
