Popular OAP, Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Freeze is a well-known On-Air Personality on Cool FM and in Nigeria. He was recently sacked from Cool FM due to some reasons that most Nigerians mistook for another story. He has some issues with Basket Mouth that people think is affiliated with his sack. After sometime, the true story came in that he wasn’t sacked because of his feud with Basket Mouth but because of something he should have done but didn’t do.
Reports shows Freeze was fired because he failed to show up in an important meeting held by AIM Group, the owners of Cool FM, Wazobia FM and Nigeria Info. The AIM group boss, Amin Moussalli, was upset at Freeze’s absence and failure to send in a representative.
Mr. Mousalli allegedly complained about OAPs acting like gods. The MD sent a memo to staff reminding them of their commitment and dedication to AIM group. It should be recalled that Freeze has been with Cool FM for 15 years before his sack.
Nontheless, it might interest you to also know that OAP Freeze confirmed via Instagram that his meeting with Mr. Moussalli had nothing to do with his feud with Basket Mouth but was yet to confirm if he has truly been fired.

“Loyalty does not mean anything to the MD,” “You should go and ask Darey and Olisa Adibua what happened to them. He can just decide to do anything at any time.”
