Money Heist part 5 release date, cast and plot

As mentioned above, we’ve now reached the end of Pina’s original vision for Money Heist, plus the extension Netflix bought with its 16-episode renewal order. Per Pina’s own testimonial, he hasn’t been asked to produce any more story ideas for Money Heist part 5, so the details of the Professor’s next diabolical plans are anybody’s guess, at this point.

Any version of part 5 will, however, have to pick up some of the loose threads left dangling at the end of part 4. Fans will recall that the Professor’s involved plan to free Lisbon finally bore fruit as things came to a close, despite its nearly being foiled by the dangerous Gandía. It was hardly a happy ending, however, as Inspectora Sierra (Najwa Nimri), having gone rogue, appears to have the Professor finally cornered at gunpoint right before the credits roll. Of course, the show threw in another twist after that, with an in-credits easter egg that potentially sets up some surprises for both Sierra and the Professor. 

Whatever Pina’s creative team comes up with once they get the signal from Netflix, we’re sure it will entail no small amount of the dexterous thievery and high cunning we’ve come to expect from Money Heist. We’ll keep you updated right here as details continue to emerge.
