President Tinubu has appointed Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. The appointment will be effective from August 14, 2024, according to a statement by Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale.

Didi Esther Walson-Jack, who became a Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017 and has held positions in various ministries, will succeed Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, the outgoing Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, who is set to retire on August 13, 2024.
President Tinubu expressed gratitude to Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan for her service and urged Didi Esther Walson-Jack to carry out her new duties with creativity, integrity, and strict compliance with the civil service regulations.
