Dr Uche Nworah, a former executive of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, shared his frustration at the high cost of braiding his daughter’s hair. He spent £100 (N200,000) on braids for his daughter who just started secondary school in the UK on September 4.
After paying for the hair, he felt like he had been cheated as the hairstyle would only last for a short period. He expressed his feelings on social media, sharing a photo of his daughter in her new hairstyle.
Reflecting on his daughter’s first day of school, he recalled his own experiences and the excitement of starting secondary school. Despite offering to take her to school, his daughter preferred to go on her own, displaying independence.
