Nigerian Pilgrim Returns Lost Money in Saudi Arabia

Nigerian Pilgrim Returns E1750 Lost In Saudi Arabia

A Nigerian pilgrim recently found and returned €1,750 at the Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Muhammad Na’Allah, from Gumi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, handed over the money to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to be returned to its rightful owner.

Upon receiving the €1,750, the chairman of NAHCON, Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, commended Na’Allah for his honesty, highlighting that the pilgrim’s actions aligned with his name, symbolizing his proximity to Allah.

This event marks the second occasion where a Nigerian pilgrim has returned lost money. Previously, Abba Limawa from Dutse Local Government Area of Jigawa State returned a significant amount of foreign currency.

Na’Allah found the money in a waist bag while on his way to the Masjid Haram. Despite initially considering ignoring it, he decided to pick it up, suspecting it may belong to a fellow Nigerian.

Likewise, Limawa’s honesty and integrity were commended when he returned the substantial amount of foreign currency he found in a similar situation.
