Ondo Police Identify Officers Who Allegedly Extorted N20000 From Man (via Primetweets)

The Ondo State Police have revealed the identity of officers accused of coercing N20,000 from a man in Akure.

This information was released by the police command in Ondo State.

The victim, known as Temi (@_iamTipTop), shared a now-deleted post on X on September 25, 2024, detailing that he was on his way to provide inhalers for students with asthma at the Federal University of Technology Akure when the officers demanded money from him under duress.

In response to the claims, the police stated that they have identified the officers involved in this misconduct.
 
“The command has identified the officers involved in the act against @_iamTipTop during his transit in the state. Disciplinary measures are being initiated,” the statement noted.
