Oyetola to Appeal Election Result at Supreme Court, Cites "Enough Grounds"

Adegboyega Oyetola, the former Governor of Osun State, has declared that he and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have grounds to take their case to the Supreme Court following the Appeal Court’s ruling. This ruling overturned the decision of the Tribunal that had previously removed Governor Ademola Adeleke. Oyetola expressed his unwavering faith in the judiciary, and stated that based on what has been revealed so far, there is a strong basis for further legal action.

In a statement from his media aide, Israel Omipidan, Oyetola said: “We are still waiting to receive a copy of the judgement, but from what we have seen so far, we believe we have a valid reason to go to the Supreme Court. I remain confident in the justice system, and I am sure that God will help me reclaim my mandate. I urge all of our supporters and party members to stay calm as we take the next step.”
