An alarming incident unfolded as an alleged GUO Transport driver threatened to harm passengers.
The driver warned of harm to those who report his misconduct to the company’s management after complaints about his behavior on a trip from Lagos to Aba.
The disturbing threat left passengers shocked and worried about their safety.
Passengers scheduled to depart from GUO’s Old-Ojo station in Lagos at 7:00 am on August 31 faced delays and did not leave until 8:30 am due to station management issues.
During the trip, Nonso, the driver, drove passengers around Ogun State for three hours in search of fuel, worsening their frustration.
Upon voicing their discontent with the driver’s behavior, Nonso menacingly warned that he would harm anyone who reported him to GUO management, escalating fear and tension among passengers.
Situation worsened when the bus reached Owerri at 1:00 am, significantly behind schedule. Exhausted and dismayed, passengers were unexpectedly asked to disembark, with the driver abruptly ending the trip. He then locked the bus, leaving passengers stranded in the middle of the night.
Despite paying N32,000 for the trip, passengers were refused refunds and instructed to take a local bus to finish their journey to Aba, heightening their frustration and disappointment.
