In a tragic incident, unidentified armed robbers have fatally shot a man moments after he exited a bank in Kogi. The robbers followed him to Phase II, Lokongoma near the market, intercepted his vehicle, pulled him out, and opened fire on him.
An unknown man was gunned down by suspected armed robbers shortly after he left a bank following a transaction. Reports indicate that the assailants followed him from the bank to Phase II, Lokongoma, where they ambushed his car, forcibly removed him, and shot him multiple times.
They then fled with a bag containing the money he had withdrawn from the bank.
Law enforcement authorities in the state have not yet issued a statement regarding this tragic event.
