Sad News: Former Borno Governor Ali Modu Sheriff’s Mother Passes Away

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hajja Aisa, the mother of the former Borno governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.

She breathed her last in Abuja after a long battle with illness at the age of 93.

The funeral arrangements for Hajja Aisa have been scheduled for Monday, July 1, 2024, during the Zuhur prayers.

The ceremony will be held at the family home of the late Galadima Modu Sheriff on Damboa Road in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.
