Two of Hollywood’s biggest goofballs, Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation, Sonic the Hedgehog) and Sam Rockwell (Richard Jewell, Jojo Rabbit), are teaming up from a secret untitled comedy at Searchlight Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is based on a pitch from Schwartz, who is also set to pen the script for the project, although plot details are currently being kept under wraps. Searchlight, now a part of the House of Mouse, picked up the project after the 38-year-old comedian pitched them the concept.
The project marks the latest in a string of films Rockwell has featured in for the independent production studio, including last year’s Oscar-nominated Jojo Rabbit, 2017’s Oscar-winning Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, for which he took home his first statue for Best Supporting Actor, and the 2013 coming-of-age dramedy The Way, Way Back, among others. It also marks a reunion between Schwartz and Rockwell after the two previously starred together in the 2018 romantic action comedy Blue Iguana.

Though this marks Schwartz’s first time working with Searchlight Pictures, he has appeared in other previous 20th Century projects including 2013’s family animated adventure Turbo and crime-thriller Runner Runner. He has been on a hot streak lately with the hit big screen adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Netflix special Middleditch & Schwartz in which he starred alongside Silicon Valley alum Thomas Middleditch. He also reprised his beloved role of Jean-Ralphio for the charitable A Parks and Recreation Special and is reuniting with the series co-creator Greg Daniels for the Netflix comedy Space Force led by Steve Carrell (The Office).
