Nollywood actress Deborah Shokoya aka Debbie has revealed that her latest movie is dedicated to her late child.

The name of her film is ‘Irin Ayanmo.”

Reflecting on the enduring nature of certain pains that become a part of one’s essence, she acknowledged the traumatic experience as a source of strength.

Debbie expressed her heartfelt dedication to her stillborn child in the movie, praising the child for teaching her the capacity for selfless sacrifice, paving ways effortlessly, and revealing her true strength.

While expressing a longing to hold her child in her arms again with each passing day, Debbie conveyed her love and acknowledged the belief in God’s better plans.

She wrote: “Some pain never goes away, they become part of you. Even though it’s traumatizing, it makes you stronger…this movie is dedicated to my cute little one. The one who made me know I could sacrifice without giving a second thought. The one who came and paved the way without stress, the one who sacrificed, so mama could live. The one who made me know that truly I am strong!!!

“Every day passes and I wish I could hold you in my arms again, oh, my sweet gentle understanding baby…I love you with the whole of me!! But god has better plans.”

In another post, Debbie expressed a desire that everyone who posted about her during the incident could help promote her movie.

Sharing a message to her fans, she reminded them that no matter how dark life is, saying there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

“I wish everyone who posted me then during the incident, I wish they will help post my movie this time it will mean so much and go a long way

 

“There’s always that point in everyone’s life that we give huge sacrifices without thinking about the consequences. Remember, no matter how dark!!… There is always light at the end of the tunnel.”
