Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are facing some serious tax payments. In documents first obtained by The Sun, the Teen Mom stars are behind on their taxes. The couple got a federal tax lien of $535,010 for the 2016 and 2017 years. Then they were hit with another lien of $321,789 for 2018.
According to E! News, Lowell and Baltierra have yet to pay “the $856,799 they owe in tax debt.” Wow!
Meanwhile, Lowell was hit with a state tax lien of $6,001 in May 2019, according to E! News, but that was paid off in February.
Despite this financial stress, the couple remains devoted to each other and committed parents. On the podcast, The Awesome Dad Show, Baltierra said that he and his wife would leave MTV’s Teen Mom if their daughters asked them. He said: “If it comes to the point where our children are coming to us and saying, ‘Listen, we’re getting bullied’ or ‘I wish you guys wouldn’t do the show anymore,’ then it’s done.”
Hopefully that doesn’t happen until they’ve paid their taxes!
