Before we get to the relationship between Sophie Brussaux and Drake, here’s a bit about her background: She reportedly lives in Paris, France with Adonis, and she was born and raised in Bordeaux. The rapper’s ex used to work in adult film and now enjoys a career as a painter under the name “Sophie B.,” creating her pieces out of a studio in Bordeaux.
Brussaux is “an award-winning and published artist who combines her fascination for cultural & social paradigms with a love of colorful pop-art & symbolism,” according to her website. “She has become renowned for her vivid use of acrylics, oils, spray paints, palette knife. She has exhibited in formal and informal places ranging from art-loving nightclubs to museums.”
In addition to painting, Brussaux is the founder and artistic director of Arts Help, a non-profit organization. She describes herself as an activist and a feminist, and reportedly has degrees in International Affairs and Wealth Management, according to OK! Magazine.
Despite the mom’s public Instagram profile and work endeavors, she seemingly appreciates her privacy. Like Drake, she has refrained from posting photos of Adonis on social media, but after her ex shared his own set of pictures, Brussaux followed suit with several adorable photos of the baby boy. She even joked about the fact that Adonis’s blond hair and blue eyes look nothing like his parents — apparently, she has a sense of humor!
