Tonto Dikeh
Nigerian actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, recently shared her newfound appreciation for the Islamic faith.
On Instagram, she expressed how the sound of Muslim prayers has been her source of inspiration, symbolizing love, dedication, and the beauty of God.
She reflected on ways she could support mosques beyond monetary donations, commending the commitment and purposefulness of Muslims while expressing her aspiration to delve deeper into the faith.
She shared, “I wake up to the best sound everyday for the past 4 years… It’s a sound of love and dedication, the sound of God’s beauty and love. If I wanted to donate to a mosque what do I give aside from money? God bless every Muslim and more especially every Muslim I hear your prayers. May Allah answer you.”
She also added, “God/Allah is love… I’m deeply touched. My biggest prayer is to understand the Muslim faith. Their dedication and intentionality (if there is a word like this) is worthy of emulation. I feel like going over to the mosque now to ask why they didn’t pray today?”
