A devastating road accident in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, claimed three lives on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when a truck transporting a container lost control and fell onto a commercial tricycle.
This tragic event took place at Takie Junction at around 9:30 a.m., resulting in the immediate deaths of three individuals.
Among the deceased were two female passengers and the driver of the tricycle.
They became trapped beneath the fallen container.
Witnesses stated that the truck lost its stability while turning a bend, leading to the container collapsing onto the tricycle.
Rescue operations later confirmed that all three victims had perished at the scene.
