A tragic event unfolded at St. Louis Girls’ Grammar School in Akure, Ondo State, where Boluwatife Oladipo, a 12-year-old student, collapsed and passed away.

This heartbreaking occurrence reportedly followed Boluwatife’s own predictions about her death.

As reported by a local newspaper from Ondo State, the incident happened last Tuesday, just after she expressed a desire to die.

Witnesses shared that Boluwatife was playing with peers when she began to voice unsettling thoughts, sensing that her time was near.

It was noted that she had mentioned wanting her mother to have more children, a request her mother did not fulfill.

Shortly after her alarming comments, she fainted and was quickly taken to the school clinic for initial assistance. Unfortunately, after being transferred to the University Medical Teaching Hospital (UNIMETH) in Akure, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

A teacher at the school remarked that Boluwatife’s expressions prior to the incident hinted at her foreknowledge of her fate.

“We were informed in the midst of class that a JSS 3 student had collapsed. We hurried to provide assistance,” the teacher recounted.

“The girl was known to be outside playing with her classmates when the bell rang for Mathematics class, prompting everyone back inside.”

“Once settled, she rested her head on her desk. Concerned friends poked her, trying to alert her to the teacher’s presence.”

Upon reaching her, she reportedly stated her wish to die.

The students quickly informed the teacher, who rushed to help.

As per sources, when the teacher arrived, Boluwatife repeated, “I want to die.”

“Teachers were summoned, and she was swiftly taken to the school clinic, continuing to express a desire to die.”

“She was then transported to UNIMEDTH. The attending doctor noted her pale complexion, indicating a severe blood deficiency.”

“She was placed on a blood transfusion, but tragically, she passed away during the procedure.”

Afterward, teachers who visited her family learned from her mother about the girl’s background.

“Her mother revealed that Boluwatife was her first child, and it took years for her to conceive,” one teacher noted.

Boluwatife had recently pressured her mother about having another child.

“On the morning of her demise, she mentioned to her father her intent to study abroad for her Senior Secondary School education, bidding farewell with a hug,” the mother shared.

Additionally, it was reported that she claimed to have seen a ghostly figure in their home that morning, which prompted her and her husband to pray together.
